COURTNEY DIFFNER, LCSW, PMH-C
LICENSED CLINCIAL SOCIAL WORKER #27647
I am passionate about helping people adjust to new life transitions whether it be the adjustment to parenthood, school issues, coping with a medical diagnosis, facing infertility, or grief after the loss of a loved one. Perhaps you're feeling down or anxious—maybe you’re unsure about the future of a relationship or just feeling that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs, I’m here to offer support. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, and in our sessions we will collaborate on setting goals, and finding new paths through the problem.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with adults, adolescents and children. I've worked in a diverse range of settings, from outpatient and inpatient hospitals to college campuses and community non-profits. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado in Boulder, and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Smith College in Massachusetts. I participated in postgraduate training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family in family therapy. I completed the intensive grief training program through OUR HOUSE. I'm also a volunteer with Postpartum Support International and certified in perinatal mental health. I've also completed training in EMDR. Please feel welcome to reach out and ask me any additional questions that you might have.
